I came up with the idea and name for this bowl while sitting around and laughing with my husband and our great friend Korin Sutton. Korin is a pro vegan bodybuilder and one of the happiest people you will ever meet. He loves eating these bowls and has even more fun coming up with the names. You can make a bowl with any greens, grains, and protein you like. The possibilities are endless, but here is how I like to make mine.
Makes one huge bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 cup mixed veggies
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1/2 cup baked tempeh
- 1/2 cup sprouts
- 1/2 cup tomatoes
- 1/4 cup peppers
- 1/4 cup sourkraut
- 1/4 cup avocado
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
Other topping options:
- squash
- sweet potatoes
- red cabbage
- beans
- quinoa
- kale
- raisins
- tofu
- seitan
Instructions
- Assemble your bowl by adding your greens, mixed veggies, rice and any other additional toppings.
- Turn this meal into vegan muscle!
